Santa Paula Chamber of Commerce Ambassador Program

Purpose of the Program:
The Santa Paula Chamber of Commerce Ambassador Program serves as an elite group of dedicated volunteers committed to strengthening the Chamber's relationship with its members, promoting Chamber events, and enhancing the business community of Santa Paula.



Program Objectives

1.      Build and foster relationships with Chamber members.

2.      Increase member engagement and retention.

3.      Represent the Chamber at community and networking events.

4.      Serve as a welcoming face for new members and businesses in the community.

Roles and Responsibilities

1.      Membership Engagement:

o Serve as a liaison between the Chamber and its members.

o Conduct outreach to welcome new members and encourage participation in events.

o Contact inactive members to rekindle their involvement.

2.      Event Support:

o Assist with planning and executing Chamber events, such as mixers, ribbon-cuttings, and community gatherings.

o Attend and help at Chamber events, greeting attendees, and promoting Chamber benefits.

3.      Advocacy and Promotion:

o Representing the Chamber at public events as a knowledgeable spokesperson.

o Advocate for Chamber programs and services within the community.

4.      Networking and Visibility:

o Actively network with members and guests at events.

o Be a positive, approachable presence to help connect businesses and individuals.

Eligibility Requirements

·      Must be a current member (or employee of a member business) in good standing with the Chamber.

·      Commit to participating in a minimum of 3-4 events and meetings per year (e.g., Chamber Awards, Ambassador meetings, Chamber mixers).

·      Exhibit enthusiasm, professionalism, and a genuine interest in supporting the Santa Paula business community.

Structure of the Program

·      Leadership: A designated Ambassador Program Chairperson will oversee the program in collaboration with Chamber staff.

·      Meetings: Regular meetings (e.g., monthly) TBD will be held to review progress, plan initiatives, and coordinate event support.

·      Recognition: Top-performing Ambassadors will be acknowledged at an annual Chamber event.

How to Join the Ambassador Program

Applications will be reviewed, and selected Ambassadors will undergo a brief orientation session to familiarize themselves with their responsibilities and the Chamber’s mission.
